The Unimeter consists of a precision cylinder on which two measuring arms are placed. The upper front jaw is movable when measuring and its movement is free from play and friction.The deflection of this movable jaw is transferred to an indicator, typically a dial gauge or microcator. The rear measuring jaw is fixed when measuring, and is adjustable along the cylinder, and can be fastened at any desired distance from the upper jaw. The Unimeter can be outfited with a large variety of standard and specialized jaws, only your imagination sets the limit of how it can be built.
